In 2018, I started my career in commission sales. I had plans to follow in my parents footsteps and pursue a career in medicine, however, I decided to take off two years from school and began my career in sales in the meantime. I fell in love with sales, helping clients with their needs, and training other people to do what I had learned to do. I issued over 2,000 applications as a personal producer in the insurance space in a 3 year span and have built a business that will do over 75M in premium this year. We have 30 agents on track to issue over 400 applications personally and 32 agencies that will do over 1M this year. Being good at sales and leadership is simple, executing is not. As a salesperson add value to your client. As a manger, add value to your salesforce. Do the right thing, do it consistently, and the money will follow.
